Pandemic Fatigue

I'd be remiss if I did not blog about the amazing and ingenious dining in Princeton due to COVID-19. The creative restauranteurs in partnership with the township have done their best to jointly preserve dining during the 2020 Pandemic, which is no small feat, yet it feels like the transition was seamless. The atmosphere could not be more inviting or welcoming to those who want to be out for a special occasion or are trying to overcome "pandemic fatigue" safely.
Princeton's outside dining has an almost carnival feel to it with lights strung in trees, jovial camaraderie, and streets barricaded by the township to provide safety for diners and their tables in what once were busy streets for cars and parking. Now diners eat safely with physical distancing guidelines and most recently added, heaters for warmth.
I hope these restaurants, with their dedication to serve our community, will be able to continue their auspicious endeavor of serving our community during a very trying and tiring time in our history. Don't be shy in visiting Princeton for a stroll that includes ice cream, hot chocolate, a slice of pizza, or a sit down dinner with many international cuisines being represented around Palmer Square, Hindz Plaza, Whitherspoon Street and Nassau Street to name a few.
I was unable to find a recent article about Al Fresco dining in Princeton during cooler temperatures, but rest assured these restaurants have heat and are ready to serve! I am tagging an article from this summer for you to read about some of the restaurants in town. If you are interested in finding a specific type of dining you can always go to Yelp or go to town and walk around until you find something that suits your taste.
Most importantly, enjoy life. Eat out or order carry out to support all the small,
locally owned businesses and their employees, it's a wining situation for everyone!
